Is your baby Breech?
If you are pregnant, you may have been directed to find a Webster Technique certified practitioner (especially if your baby is in a breech position)! To clarify, this technique is not meant as a “baby turning” maneuver, but rather a way to effectively evaluate the pregnant pelvis for sacral misalignment. When the sacrum (tailbone) becomes malpositioned, or stuck, it often creates a less optimal space for the growing baby who may shift to a more comfortable position. Many times this the baby becomes breech. When the technique is performed, it is very common for the baby to position him/herself head down in the ideal birthing position again!
